Whitney is the Creative Director of Room in the Inn - Memphis, a growing nonprofit sheltering those experiencing homelessness. While attending seminary, Whitney felt called to ministry beyond the pulpit and walls of the church and into spaces that made room for creativity and community while meeting the needs of those gathered. She has found a place to explore and live into that call with Room in the Inn since 2015. With a move to the Cincinnati area in 2024, Whitney continues her work with Room in the Inn remotely, connects with individuals and ministries nation-wide through her art ministry, Seed Creative Care, and finds opportunities to use her gifts to serve locally. In work and in life Whitney finds her call rooted in creativity, joy, and community.
