Saturday Morning Making:Contemplative Drawing Live Sessions

Each Wednesday a group gathers at noon EST to draw together. These folks don’t identify as artists. But, each person brings a strong desire to put down the collective anxiety of the world for 30-45 minutes, to make marks on paper with their hands and through their hearts. This group began as the Lenten Sketchbook Trek Series and has evolved into the Drawn to This: A Weekly Practice of Hand and Heart live drawing sessions, powered by the Kranky Thumb Collective. The drawings we create together are born from weekly prompts created from our collective need to remember what it means to be human — being in our bodies, aware of our senses, feelings, emotions, being creative, inspired, moved, willing and open to share and heal.
